Two of fourteen (14) 3-phase slug catchers Taylor Forge has supplied to Qatar. The slug catchers support the largest LNG facility in the world. Due to the extreme conditions of the process fluids, the carbon steel plate was HIC and SSC tested, and portions of line pipe and liquid manifolding was cladded with Inconel, all in effort to limit corrosion. In addition, to help set an interface for the hydrocarbons and water within the system, the proprietary TFES S-bend was implemented for 3-phase separation.
